Jewelry Care
RIYOVA pieces are treated with an anti-tarnish coating to help protect against tarnishing and scratches, yet it is still important for you to follow our care instructions to maintain and preserve the shine.
Stainless steel
Embrace the timeless appeal of stainless steel—an affordable alternative to solid gold that remains untarnished over time. You are free to wear our waterproof stainless steel pieces anywhere your heart desires, whether it's at the beach, in the gym, or even in the shower.
925 Sterling Silver
Unveil the delicate charm of 925 sterling silver, a soft and malleable metal perfect for creating dainty jewelry like stud earrings & mini hoops. Our sterling silver pieces require tender loving care. Protect them from water and moisture, such as sweat, perfume, and lotions, to preserve their color and shine.
Brass
Elevate your style with our gold-plated brass bling—affordable and chic, but keep them dry to maintain that golden glow.
We recommend that the jewelry be removed before going to bed or participating in extreme physical activities. Exposure to certain harsh chemicals or environments will result in compromising the radiance of your jewelry. This includes, but is not limited to the following: perspiration, perfumes, cleaning agents, chlorine, salt water, and silver polish.
CLEANINGUsing a small, slightly damp, soft cloth lightly polish your jewelry until the shine has visibly improved. If the dirt is hard to remove, soak the jewelry in clean water. Gold plated jewelry requires more care, using cloth roughly may cause the gold plating to fade away, therefore it is very important that this process is done gently to avoid the gold plating from wearing away.
STORAGEEvery order from us comes with our very own signature RIYOVA pouch that is designed with a special microfiber fabric especially made to preserve the jewelry quality as well as for safe and secure storage of your jewelry. Store your jewelry in our signature RIYOVA pouch, away from humid places, direct sunlight and heat.
Gold plated and Gold Vermeil pieces are, by default, more fragile and liable to lose their color over time. The speed at which our jewelry fades will depend on multiple variables such as skincare products, level of perspiration or even your natural skin. However, RIYOVA pieces can last for a long time, years at that, once specially cared for. For this reason, it is particularly important to take special care of your jewelry to ensure a quality that lasts.
